Meet Pete

Our team in Sonoma County walks our doggie friends in Petaluma, Rohnert Park, Santa Rosa and Sonoma.  We'll be adding more towns very soon.

Every one of our walkers has passed administrative interviews, personal reference checks, test-walking, and thorough criminal background checks. Each of our Pupwalkers also has previous experience with dog-handling, customer service, and a positive mind-set.  This makes sure they can work well with you and provide loving care for your dogs!

Pete

Pete has been around dogs his whole life. In 2005 he was given the opportunity to train a 2 week old puppy into a service dog thru (Assistance Dog Institute)  which is now (Bonnie Bergin Canine Studies) he was educated in dog genetics.

Pete knows behavior and dog psychology. He also took weekly classes on how to train puppies and turn them into service dogs. Pete was placed with Isiah who was trained only by him until he was a year and half old and was ready to graduate in 2007.  Isiah learned 106 different commands from Pete and served Sonoma for many years until 2015. Isiah changed Pete’s life and showed him that being around dogs and training them is his passion.

When Pete isn’t working with or training dogs he enjoys basketball and any kind of outdoor sport. He also loves to go camping with his 2 pitbulls Champ and Rockko. He also likes to relax at home with his 2 chihuahua mixes Raisin and Colby.

Pete’s future goals are to open up a boarding/training/sanctuary facility that wouldn’t discriminate against certain breeds with his fiancé Danielle and hopefully continue to make an impact in the dog society!
