This past weekend, we had the honor of delivering January's Monthly Treat to the director of the BadRap in Oakland. Donna was thrilled with the donation and excited about Pupwalks' idea to revolutionize support for local dog rescues. She gave us a tour of their beautiful property and we learned a great deal about how this well-organized rescue is operated.
BadRap functions as a both dog rescue, as well as an advocacy group for misaligned breeds such as American Pit Bully Terriers and other bully breeds.
They offer specialized classes for adoptees, community outreach programs to help owners keep their dogs, and even offer consult to local authorities during illegal dog-fighting busts. Once a month, they drive around offering FREE spay neuter services in economically disadvantaged areas. BadRap is a very well-rounded organization that works tirelessly to educate the public and support responsible dog guardianship.

January's donation, on behalf of Pupwalks, will help support incoming animals to the rescue who need medical care, vaccinations, and quality nutrition.
Thank you for making this possible, we are so thrilled to be making a difference with you all!
